There is a few achievements involved with some you have to help both and pick specific acitivties to get the achievement.
Personally I always help Lindsey as I really can't stand Chloe and don't want her to win.

Chloe can give up her free scholarship and deduct a certain tuition fee for all students, which helps a lot overall.

And Lindsey found Polly canvassing, and he pulled a line of support in one breath.

I couldn't understood that point in the game tbh. After the ferry game in Europe, she can't stop talk about, that they are rich and she hated the poor girl act, then why is she upset about the scholarship? They can pay it easily, so it is an unnecessary line imo.

During her campaign, one of the Lindsey options seems totally out of character and feels contrived. It's so out of character that I cant justify choosing it and think it should be changed.

I have to agree with Chloe on the plastic baby. Personally I would have chucked it outside and ignored it. I think judging her a bad parent over a plastic baby is a bit ridiculous. It's like sitting someone in a plastic car and saying they are a bad driver...

I dunno bro but I have the feeling she is going to be awful with real babies. It also tells me that she is just a spoilt brat.

It seems to me they want people to support Lindsey more by making Chloe the primadonna in all this but then perhaps in later chapters if Chloe loses you will see a really vulnerable side to her . Also possible that if Lindsey wins the power will go right to her head ,
