How long is the single player campaign?

I wanna buy this game on sale mainly to experience the single player campaign. How long is the campaign and is it worth it?

Bonus question : How is the single player campaign in this game compared to Battle For Neighborville?

not very long. i finished it on my second day of playing. in my opinion the single player campaign is boring, just one of many ways to make some money. this game is basically a multiplayer fun shooter and i wouldnt buy it for the single player campaign

yes it's still easy but... there's some problems now, probably with ea server, so many people cant play multiplayer. i waiting server fix or someone who can tell how to fix that

If your a speedrunner, It takes atleast 1:30:00 To beat all zombie quests and 2 hours to beat Plants quests. But if your not then all of it takes atleast 4 hours depending on your skill

I would say this game is most worth it if you know at least one other player you can play it with.
I play it with my brother mostly in pve and thats awesome, for many hours and a year later another run and still awesome.
Singleplayer is very short (like other wrote ~4 hours) and the other modes don't make much fun alone. The limited content breaks these modes for singleplayer.

So, these answers are for the "campaign" missions. This doesn't include the golden gnome and globe hunting. This doesn't include the dozen contacts for each side that give you special missions as you are running around the backyard. This doesn't include the time it takes to do what you need to do to unlock the special classes, which is single player content.

While the "campaign" is only a handful of hours, the single player content fills up dozens, not including redundant grinding you want to do
