You've probably had this issue where the game doesn't open. It is quite common, so I wouldn't be surprised if it has been the cause of a good part of the user losses after this week's boom. However, there are variants of this error, but if you launch the game from Steam and it does not open or shows you an error about the EA app, this can solve it:

CLOSE THE EA APP FROM TASK MANAGER, THEN OPEN IT AGAIN. WHEN EA'S ♥♥♥♥♥♥ APP WORKS, LAUNCH THE GAME FROM STEAM AND THAT'S IT, IT SHOULD WORK WITHOUT INSTALLING ORIGIN OR DELETING FILES. AT WORST (if EA never opens correctly) YOU WILL HAVE TO REINSTALL THAT CRAPPY APP; ALTHOUGH IF YOU ARE ALREADY GOING TO DO THAT; BETTER YOU UNINSTALL EA AND INSTALL ORIGIN.

I have already reinstalled and updated everything, but it still doesn’t work. I repaired all the files, whether it’s for PVZ GW2 or EA APPS, but it still doesn’t work. I tried the technique you suggested, but it didn’t work either.

My problem is that the game launches normally, EA apps launch normally, I get the initial animation, but when it gets to the loading screen connecting to the EA server, the game closes without any error message, and EA apps also close.

All my drivers are up to date, and I have a PC that should be able to run all games, but I can’t find the file that everyone says to uninstall.

I hope someone has the solution .

I had a driver update that had just come out I did them and everything worked again

i had the same, i tried it on another day and opened it through EA and not through the Game on my Desktop or Steam

OP already mentioned there is no cryptbase.dll file present. It is the same scenario for me as well.
