Will there be a client to play this game if it goes offline ?
i love this game, it's so simple yet fun.
my question being, will this game be supported for long and if support stops, is there a chance the community does a client like northstar cliend for tf2 ?

With how dedicated the GW2 modding community is, I'm sure that if whenever the game servers goes offline, they'll make a way to play the game online again. That's just my guess though, nobody's really sure.
