come on EA. I'm not installing an OS that takes up 20 gb, spies on me and forcefully installs things on my computer. I know they won't listen, an admin even replied just to annoy me. Though I would love some bypass from the loving community.

idk if the gw2 community would know this, but maybe the community for other games that use the frostbyte engine and/or are linked to origin or ea app would

It's still possible to play GW2 on Linux / Steam Deck but with a big catch:

You have to downgrade the game and use Frosty mods to make the game single player only. There are additional mods that add other game mode maps and content to single player mode, including one that makes the bots more fun and challenging. I can help you make this work if you're interested.

Playing the game with online multiplayer is no longer possible, unless you dual-boot or use Steam Remote Play to stream the game from a Windows PC to your Steam Deck.

Is there a way for you to show me how to get that running on the steam deck? It used to work really well before an update that rolled out, and now it doesn't work on my main windows computer. IDK WTH EA did with the update but they broke everything for me.
