Hard to really gauge in my opinion, as both are more active for sure v.s. Garden warfare 1. Not sure where it's located, but steam has a feature that shows player count (I've seen it before, dunno where again)

Edit: If you go community hub and look in the 'top' corner it shows player counts, there's a bar beneath all the headers. GW2 has ~700 right now, but bfn isn't displaying there's right now; might be glitched/janky. These will give you a general idea as to how many people play online especially since it's the most popular mode.
