Voice chat not working? Push to talk keybind not remappable?

Idk why but the bind for push to talk is greyed out for me. I can't change it. Also I can't hear anyone talk in game. I've made sure the proper devices are set to default in my sound control panel.

recently i havent heard anyone talk on gw2, at least on the EU servers
probably because no one is actually talking

also i dont know why ptt is not remappable (which is dumb)
for me it sucks that its mapped to alt since i constantly alt tab when using my pc

Mostly everyone does't talk from my experiences. Yeah sure you got the people that buy 5$ mic and headphones and break your eardrums but, other than that no one talks.

I have the same problem, my friend could not hear me when i was talking in vc neither could i hear him. the voip key is not remappable. does anyone have a solution to that?

GW2 only recoqnizes your set DEFAULT MICROPHONE. In order to fix the mic issue, go to your voice control panel and disable all other microphone devices OTHER THAN THE ONE YOU ARE USING and SET IT ON DEFAULT.
