Hello, I just purchased this game and I am having trouble starting it. When ever I try to start the game, it loads for a while then a notification pops up and ask to allow steam. I click yes and then my Microsoft store app pops up and it says " You'll need a new app to open this link2ea link.

reposting my reply to a similar thread:

Probably something to do with them retiring the Origin app yesterday. You need to have the new EA app installed and logged in to play. (set up an EA account if you haven't already) Since you just bought the game, I'm not sure if you'll encounter any problems activating it with your EA account.

Alternatively, if you're having trouble there is still an active link to download the original Origin client. Once its installed and logged in, try launching PVZ GW2 though Steam again.
