Failed to find a match

Everytime I queue for pvp whether it be solo or in a party it fails to find a match (pve is fine though), it shows 4k players on right now on steam charts so it is not a player count issue. Does anyone else have this issue / know a fix.

In typical EA fashion, they've not prepared for the influx of new players buying and playing Garden Warfare when they released it on steam. So the already limited servers they have up for Multiplayer matches are currently strained heavily. Basically, anytime you get the "Failed to find a match" message, it's because there are no available slots left. I'd recommend gamemodes like Team Vanquish and Gnome Bomb to have a higher likelyhood of joining as they aren't as popular. But it'll probably still be hard to find a match due to 47k+ players right now.

From what i've read in a few discussions, it seems like players have a higher likelihood to join a match if they're in a friend group together.

Servers are full at the time. I have been playing in Austrailia. It works.

Try mixed mode, they will slot you into whatever space that they have left

Try different modes and regions, Mixed mode and Turf Takeover usually are the most popular, regardless of region.

I play mixed mode on EU servers and I get in almost instantly 90% of the time.

servers are mostly packed, EA hasn't done much since the initial server revamp
(so everyone could get into the backyard)

if you keep trying, eventually you will get a game.
they are at max pop

i thought EA would see the money potential but apparently multiplayer servers aren't really much concern for them right now

hopefully it gets better
but it's been like 3 days like this now
so....
