achievement help
So Ive completed the game now few times but I never managed to get Anarchy/Law And Order to pop even if I tried to only choose pro/anti codex choices so what am I missing? Do I have to do every possible choice relating to them during the playthrough for this or what?

Also Always One Step Ahead seems to be a mystery to me but I think its a case about the Rebels but I couldn't find any opportunity for this on any of my playthroughs

You can find a video guide I did for all achievements in the Guide section, but otherwise have a read of below and that should help you out with those few you need:

So for Law and Order, follow everything the codex way. That means tell security on Zena, no pills for the dog, don't go to the lab without finding Paul first and to put Joseph under house arrest. On top of all that get all case solutions correct. In doing so you should also gain the one step ahead achievement after the unlocking the server in maintenance room. A side note too is make sure you approach people as Chief rather than a friend just in case, as it's unknown if this has any affect on the achievement.

Anarchy is the opposite. Don't tell security, give the dog pills, go to the lab and get Michio shot, don't arrest Joseph. Get all case solutions wrong and approach people more as a friend and not Chief.

alright thank you so much for the tips! Think I know why I wouldnt get them to pop cause my second and third playthrough were kinda speedrunnish so I just b-lined everything but tried to make right choices for codex related questions

I did exactly the same thing, and it was literally just a couple of choices that I made that stopped me getting the achievements.

Thank you so much for this. I probably would have given up on achievement hunting if you hadn't given such specific instructions here. Just got Anarchy this morning to finish off the 100%.

Awesome! Glad it's helped you out, it did take me a while to get it right, but never give up! :)

Definitely not getting much luck on Anarchy. I do think the explanation requires more explanation in terms of getting a number of things related to endgame.

It's possibly so but as I've mentioned before it's hard to determine what affects this achievement exactly, the slightest thing out of place could stop you getting it.
All I know is if you follow the last 30mins of my video for the Anarchy achievement step by step then you're guaranteed to get the achievement.
If you're not following the video then that's fine but I don't know what choices you're making that could be different from the video, so all I can provide is a brief description of the main factors that may have an effect of some sort to point you in the right direction, other than writing a full on video transcript.

Some additional info:

In my video I try to do everything against the codex, as if I'm for the people. What I will point out is, you MUST go see Zena in Luis's bunk no matter what, just don't tell security about her. Another thing that could play a part is when seeing Curtis in Psychiatry be sure to forgive him. When at the end choose 'no I didn't' and tell them about iris, then advocate for otis b.
The dialogue for the ending starts around 1:59:25 in my video but Talya should get shot before any dialogue is chosen I believe, providing you did everything correctly.

Again don't get any of the cases right, select your cat or your bunk as the solutions.

Once you have done the above you MUST wait until the very end of the game for this achievement to pop, it won't pop like the others.

Freaking finally.

I was going through and documenting everything to make sure I didn't miss anything. What a nuisance because the threshold for triggering it must be tiny.

Awesome! So glad you finally got it. And you are correct, it took me multiple playthroughs to figure out how to get this and I'm sure it was just the slightest thing that I missed that stopped it triggering. I think this was what took up most my time before being able to get the video guide out.

For what it's worth: I just beat the game for the first time and got Anarchy. I got every case solution correct (got the Stellar Performance achievement) AND reported Zena to security and still got it. So I suspect you're allowed to get one thing "wrong" and still get it, and there's no reason that you should have to flub every case. That's not a fun way to be an anarchist!

I also did not approach 100% of people as a friend; Luis had to call me Chief.

It's possible this is all stuff that's changed since release, but I want to put this here for other people who stumble on the thread later.

I need to step in as well.
Just finished the Game with 10/10 Cases correctly solved, as well as 4 Captives in the Brig and nobody got shot.
I tried to be friendly with everyone, handing out Medicine, dropping Charges on Painkiller theft and suggesting to the Doctor to change the System on how Medication is distributed.

The rest is just like the normal Game.
Then on the Final Confrontation on the Bridge you decide if you want to go the Codex-Route or the Anarchy-Route:
1) I opted for a public vote -> "Democracy" Achievement
2) I include the Iris in my Statement AND advocated for Otis-b -> "Anarchy" Achievement
3) I let Chichi roam free after the Call from my Mom -> "For our own Sake" Achievement

Confirming Mortimer’s route and stipulations for Anarchy works. For all response options, especially with Talya, I always chose the “side with the people” choice. I “forgave”, but not sure if that factored in. Based on other players’ experiences, could be a point-based system in addition to certain conditions being met.
I did got Anarchy with only one case wrong.

SOmeone has found any reliable guide online for cheevos? I missed quite a few after my first playthroughs and without a proper manual save system I don´t feel like experimenting for those, also some I have no clue how to get them. I though Mitchigo dying was set on stone for example but from reading this thread it seems it isn´t.
