Chapter 10 mom's grave softlock? (Xbox)

I know I am on the steam forums and this is an Xbox problem, but I thought this would be the best way to make this issue aware for the devs. In the graveyard area with the four gates leading up to mom's grave, whenever I leave the area and come back the top final gate to mom's grave sight just closes and I have to remove and move the stone switch to re-open it. The problem is during chapter 10 when I needed to go to the crypt I accidentally went up to mom's grave essentially softlocking myself in since every time I get anywhere near the gate it just closes with no way to reopen it. This really upsets me as I feel I'm nearing the end of the game and I don't want to have to restart all over again.

This issue is happening on Xbox One.

In case they miss this post, I got confirmation from them a little while ago that they know about this and they're still waiting on the patch certification for it on Xbox.

I was currently playing it on switch and came here to see if anyone else had run into this issue, I'm really disappointed as I felt like I was nearing the end of the game as was just trying to tidy up missing heart containers
