Apollo backing you up with Medusa?

I wanted to check if the interaction I had was intended or not.

In my 2nd playthrough, I chose to stick with Apollo rather than work with Persephone. I put off visiting Medusa until after Aphrodite's party (as Apollo requested), and then in the post-party conversation with Apollo there was a conversational option to ask Apollo to back me up when I visited Medusa, which I chose.

I then went to Medusa's club, but instead of Apollo, I was backed up by Freddie and Pan.

In my first playthrough I was just backed up by Freddie alone, so Pan showing up was unexpected and different, but since I'd had an actual conversation with Apollo asking *him* to come along, I was surprised when he didn't show up.

It's probably intended! My friend also got the Freddie + Pan support combo during their Apollo playthrough. Trying to unlock this scene myself to complete Maestro. So thanks for sharing!

I think the Freddie + Pan scene is triggered by chosing to go alone when having to pick between them (kickass option) at the start of act 1

@Cryadis Ah, cool, I did indeed do that this playthrough (I wanted to see if I could avoid a certain event at the end of Act II if I didn't buddy up with Freddie at the start). So whether it's just Freddie or it's Freddie + Pan at the Viper's Nest club seems to be unrelated to whether you talk to Apollo or not.

But it's still weird that you get the option to ask Apollo for backup, and then he doesn't show up.

I *only* had Pan with me when I went to see Medusa. Didn't know Freddie or Apollo (Maybe? sounds bugged) could come along.

Man, it seems like this game has a lot of different paths and variables!
