My opinions
I been seeing some people say the music sucks what? I was heartbroken, crying, I was singing along to some I was.. HOLY CRAP can we get a sequel or maybe another musical visual novel? Anyone who says the songs suck just was never going to like this game the songs are gorgeously sung!

Dont mind Steam. It is a cesspool of people who seek to ruin someone else's mood. A lot of them purposely create topics to start arguments and make people angry. Normal people would not say that music in this game "♥♥♥♥" or "suck". Normal people would just say it not to their taste and move on. If you seek at least some sort productive discussion and share experience with people go on Reddit. Dont even bother with Steam forums.

Absolutely agree on this.

There's certainly points where some (versions of some) songs delve into some fairly off-kilter lyrical timings and slightly jarring mid-sequence genre transitions. Most of them probably wouldn't work that well as mindlessly repeated background music for general consumption, sure.

But in-game, as a full audio-visual experience that brings some actual player agency into such unique interrogation scenes and emotional reveals? They work. These songs cram so much character and heart in there, and just hit all the feels.

My only real minor complaint is the occasional volume normalisation issue. Though I've thankfully been encountering that far more in the regular spoken dialogue than in the songs themselves.

From the way people complained I thought the music was gonna suck. I liked most of it!

I've only heard a couple of songs so far and I'm... indifferent.
I like attending musicals, I like musical gimmicks. We just had a wacky Star Trek musical last week of all things.

I've yet to really be grabbed by any of them here so far though. I do hope they pick up and I'm able to latch onto something memorable :csd2meh:

This might be part of the reason. Choosing dialogue options as though we are playing.. well.. a *video game* and causing the constant tempo shifts and lyrical mood swings around so often probably isn't helping.

I'd wager if I picked *only* the same coloured dialogues all the time or listened to these tracks from a soundtrack outside of the game I might have a different opinion.
