The audio balance is quite unbalanced for me...
As the title suggests, I have noticed on a lot of occasions (just finished Chapter 1) that two individuals have quite different volume levels. Usually, Grace has a soft voice. Is it just me?:stress:

Sorry for any misunderstandings due to my English in advance, I'm not a native speaker.:winter2019neutralgingerbread:

I noticed the same. Usually it's not too bad, but sometimes it's not even consistent for the same character in a single song.

yeah, the first Persephone song is one, and the next Freddie scene's volume is disaster I would say...

Ya audio is ... bad at times but yay subtitles (which I would turn on even if audio was consistently volumed) but game was so emotional I'll do a 2nd playtrough

YES! The Freddie talk in the beginning of act 2 suddenly getting loud as hell sometimes, and Grace's voice is soft. My ears...

I agree, it's not almost all the scenes, but in some it's quite noticeable. The most prevalent so far have been, for me at least: (1) When Grace decides to go to the Reliquary again with Freddie and Persephone, the latter's voice is much lower compared to Freddie's; and (2) her reunion with Calliope in the Underworld, Calliope's voice is so low at times, compared to the others, that I could hardly even hear her. It can be ignored a little thanks to the subtitles, but the ideal would be to be able to hear them more clearly.

Thanks for raising this - we're aware of the issue and currently working on a fix! Hopefully have more news for you very soon.

Thanks!!
Just finished my first playthrough and it's amazing!
Also I wonder can I turn off the auto save sign and the journal update bar?
I think they are the reason of the slightly buggy moment...

Ah, good news it’s being worked on I’m loving what I’ve played so far*, and would love to recommend it to others. But some of the odd audio balance issues mean it’s really only playable with headphones on, and some of the people I’d recommend it to never play that way.

* Just a shame I now probably won’t get to finish it until next weekend, as I started on my desktop before discovering there’s no cloud saves to get it onto my Deck.

Hey, I (and quite a few others) highlighted this from the demo during the Steam Next Fest in June. Somewhat disappointed that this was not completely addressed during the following months, given how central audio is to this game.

Yeah it happens throughout the game. It's not too bad but is noticeable. I've had to adjust my volume a few times. Thankfully it's usually fine in the songs so it doesn't impede the game too much.
It's a really annoying bug. Lines (from the same person) will go from normal, to suddenly incredibly loud, then either return to normal or will be much quieter for a few lines before either returning to normal or being painfully loud again. I love the game but between losing my save file and the volume issues, it's making a LOT harder to enjoy than it should be :steamfacepalm:

Hiya! Yeah, we passed on that information at the time and shortly after, it appeared to be resolved in our testing, so the fact that it's popped back up is super disappointing for us too! We're on it, we promise!
