Pan has much less screen time, even if you choose him over Freddie and then go talk to Medusa with him. Then again, if you chose Pan and didn't bring Freddie back from the Underworld, then Pan is more present in the story than Freddie I feel.
So, there's some scenes where certain characters will always be there, but there's others where the character you sided with in their conflicts will show up instead. The biggest moment I noticed this is when confronting Medusa: if you sided with Freddie, she shows up with a bag full of gear and ends up distracting Medusa with a jury-rigged flame thrower. If you sided with Pan, HE is your sidekick in that adventure instead, and interrupts Medusa by using his pipes to snake charm her. The confrontation about what Pan knew about Calliope and the reliquary happens AT Medusa's lair, too, instead of in Pan's garden later on.
When it comes to Persephone and Apollo, whoever you sided with becomes the mentor to Grace and is generally who you're going to get exposition from. The most interesting part of that to me is that it means you're getting their perspectives of the past through the eyes of whoever you sided with! For example, you learn about the former name of Persephone and Apollo's current forms, and who they were, and how the eidolon passed to them, if you sided with them. Whoever you didn't side with isn't gonna tell you anything that personal. And most of what Persephone tells you about the past of the Idols is (understandably) centered around everything that happened with Hades. Apollo tells you more about "the" war instead... He, uh, had more of a role in it than he's willing to speak on if you chose Persephone over him (which explains a LOT of his self-loathing, honestly).
That being said, there's still plenty of scenes that don't change too much. Apollo is always the one at Aphrodite's party and the one that tells you about the Veil. Freddie is always there for helping Asterion... And she's always going to be stabbed by the Fates. Persephone is your guide to the Underworld and Apollo always refuses to go there. And no matter what, Freddie is willing to give you a bunch of info about Greek myths.
I think Pan is the one that ends up getting the short stick the most (which is a bummer since he's my favorite)--he really prefers to not put himself in harm's way, whereas Freddie is ALWAYS ready for adventure, so she just does way more. He's got some great stuff at Medusa's, though. The Apollo/Persephone split is more even, since you're going to talk to the person you sided with way more and hear their perspective on everything. Hades is definitely a big important part of the plot, it's true, but you only get the cliffnotes of Apollo's knowledge if you don't side with him, and he's got a loooot of world building to share.
He replaces Aphrodite in my run because she dies, so I don't know what happens if Freddie dies but Aphrodite lives.
Obviously like any of the other love interests, he is presumably the first to leap to Grace's defense if romanced.
oh you mean aphrodite can actually die? could you please share the choices you've made to achieve that? wanna try it out too
He did replaced Aphrodite and suggest disbanding the Chorus in my playthrough with Aphrodite not passing the eidolon
I went with the Green version of the song, then picked Blue at the end.
There's actually a third possibility at Medusa's, where BOTH Freddie and Pan show up to help you. I think it's just from choosing neither of them in the teaching song, but unsure if there's anything else that has effect on getting that outcome.
