Secret area in Downtown inaccessible since patch

So this a strange one. In Downtown, the secret area is the Back Alley. You have to Wall jump to get on a wire and cross it to get to the secret area.

Since the patch, you cannot get on the wire. If you even touch it, the new physics send your character flying across the screen.

Youtube vids of the previous version show this section working fine before.

I have seen this comment twice now and I suspect it relates to some collectibles guides but you actually don't have to wall jump to get to the wire.

In fact, that is probably a harder way to get to this secret spot! There is a hidden path in a different room that brings you up to the roof to walk across the wire.

It's on Hipster Street, in the room with the light saber, to the left of the top section where you get the selfie. I didn't know about it until I just checked. I don't think the geography really checks out and these hidden doors aren't fun to poke around for, with the only feedback being the fade-out. which is very subtle to notice in the first several frames. Wall jumping onto the line is a heck of a lot more intuitive and looked like an intentional solution.

FWIW, I was still able to wall jump onto the line.

Thank you so much this was the only way I was able to grab it! I spend like a good 30m getting onto the wire but being thrown off
