Does the game have a true ending like the first one?

In the first game, you had to beat it once then you get the earrings, and then you equip them along with the Mami. Does this game have anything similar?

Nope, what you see is what you get. The only unlockables are the two extra henchmen in NG+, and that's coming from someone that got all cheevos, so unfortunately there isn't another boss, ending, or new area for instance
Maybe they'll add more stuff in a future update? The game already implies there'll be other game modes, so who knows :d
