Is there any actual tank fighting in this game?

I've suffered through 20 minutes of walking and driving around a terrible looking environment and clicking through dialog I don't care about, and I'm out of patience waiting to see if this ever stops being a walking simulator.

Only the very beginning area of the game is like that. The rest of the game is tank combat. You'll spend 99% of the time in your tank for the rest of the game.

You can play a skirmish game as well without progressing through the story levels. But one of the cool things about the game is each level offers new combat challenges. So as you play through the campaign, you progressively unlock more and different tactical challenges.

Actualy you will spend most of the game driving your tank around. there is less actual combat and more driving/walking around massive N64 Graphic landscapes. Still a good game, would be 90% better with any kind of multiplayer skermish.
