[SOLVED] New Player Build Won't Let me Change Appearance

When I first got the game and played around with it I was able to edit the player's appearance but now when I do "New Career" and create a new build it won't let me change the player's appearance. How can get back to the original edit option?

[EDIT] I was able to change the player character's appearance once the MyCareer campaign had started so it was only the first cut-scenes that had the old character. Not ideal but I'm okay with it now.
