Worth buying when I already have Atari Vault and it's DLC?
Seem to be quite a few games duplicated. Anyone buy Vault and 50, and if so was 50 worth it?

I have both, and in my opinion, 50 is absolutely worth it... love the history, and the reimagined games are worth it on their own... (particularly vectr-sectr)

Thanks for responding. Your positive post nudged me over the purchase line. Installing now. It's part f a bundle with ten Recharged games on Humble. Already had three of those Recharged games, but rats to that.

Many games are duplicated because they are important parts of Atari history, which is the story Atari 50 tells -- but once you get it installed, you'll see (and hopefully like) what makes A50 a very different project from Vault!

I haven't actually fired 50 up yet! Just been playing Asteroids Recharged in Classic mode. They've done a good job on that one. Controls are spot on. Has that 'just one more game' quality that all arcade games should have but some lack.

Still wish you'd managed to somehow (licensing, I know) include arcade Battlezone on 50, though. It's one of your best.

Don't they have Battlezone IP now?

My Nintendo DS cart is the only port I have left.

It doesn't look like it. It isn't included in Vault or 50. The only arcade original retail version I have is on Atari Anniversary Edition for the original Playstation. That was released in 2001.

There is a PC compiilation on sale on Humble Bundle that includes arcade Battlezone. It's called Atari 80 Classic Games in One., and was originally released in 2003. It doesn't activate on Steam, though.
