Hello,

The Turbo mode has the same stage duration as the standard mode.

Whyyyy :(

I was hoping something like 33% faster speed of the game including the clock.

I played turbo mode and was soooo disappointed it had the same run time as normal games. Instead of speeding up both game time and gameplay. They just sped up gameplay...a tad bit. What a huge let down. No point in even using Turbo mode. It serves no purpose, if it doesnt speed up the clock.

I'm a bit surprised as well and curious how much it actually changes. It seems there's no benefit to turning it on when enemy spawn-rate and clock remains the same. All characters just move faster, so while turbo is welcome while you've got a handle on things it's just extra difficulty when you don't.

Turbo is a pointless feature in its current form.

it doesnt. dev just responded to you. telling you that turbo and standard are the same lenght of time. there is no time difference. The only thing that changes, is the movement speed of enemies. Which is absolutely pointless.

I think its a big improvement. it felt i was wading trou some thick mud befor and half my hit where out of range of the mobs. now im actualy chaced by them instead of me chasing them to make my hits count.

why do you wanne play the game less for more, sound more like you wanne have microtransactions.

If you feel like the game is slow like thick mud. that is something you should take up with the developer. instead of suggesting i want mtx in the game just because i think their "turbo" is completely pointless. they might as well just have added a trinket that is the opposite of shackles and called it a day. instead of adding a mode called turbo and tried to fool people. play any other game with turbo and tell me it is as lazy and pointless as this turbo is. I will tell you right now, it is not. There is a reason why people want and enjoy turbo, because it is the same experience but a faster pace. So it doesnt feel like wading through thick mud.

Hi! The goal of Turbo Mode was to increase game pace as many people felt the standard mode could feel slow. We never intended to shorten stage duration, as stages are already quite short in the standard mode.

Then Turbo mode is pointless.

It increases the pace of the gameplay... which is much more enjoyable and adds some challenge, especially early game in the high ruin stages when ghosts are coming at you at Mach 3. Don't turn it on if you feel it's pointless. It's a $5 game...settle down lol

Wouldn't it be nice to have an alternative mode where, in order to move on to the next wave, you have to kill X amount of enemies (a la "Soulstone Survivors")?

Or maybe every enemy we defeat contributes XP to fill a bar or something (elites and mini bosses could countributes more XP).

So, that way there's a more direct reason to kill everything we can, especially mini bosses / elites.

I'm not saying that timed waves are bad (20 minutes runs could be a little tedious sometimes, though), but it could be interesting to have this other more aggressive / faster (more difficult?) modes too. :remote:

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's pointless... it feels better... maybe?

Didn't play much. The maximum (new) challenges don't challenge a maxed player (much).

However I would gladly take the original slower paced mode and shorter games...
Over this new turbo mode with original game duration!

Turbo is still a fun option and improvement in and out of itself.

If that is the case. Doesnt that make it pointless? It does to me. Sounds like it does to you as well.
