This game breaks frequently

I've had multiple instances where I think I'm going mad or just dumb when finding a solution or when certain mechanics stop working entirely. I've had to restart the game and play though certain sections multiple times due to this as there is no manual save feature and the scene lengths can be quite short to quite long. Because these bugs sometimes occur out of nowhere I have looked at a walk-through on youtube a few times and find that I am actually doing things correctly. I have a decent gaming rig and my drivers, firmware and windows are all up to date. Dev's I know you are still developing the game but could you look in to this please as it's very frustrating - I'm wondering if the game doesn't like it when I alt tab away (I watch videos on my second monitor) - I do pause the game first though
