Game is stuck with "Validating Game Version" in the loading screen. Can someone help me?

That's about it.

There doesn't seem to be adequate instructions on how to make the large jumps. I get the Nitrous and trigger it but all that happens is the vehicle wobbles from side to side a bit but I still doesn't make the jump. There's no information as to when to trigger the Nitrous boost (before or during the jump and if before, how soon before?), how long do you hold down the button..? It doesn't seem to matter what I try I smack into the opposed side or plummet like a stone. I'd have to, at least, get around t...

Just played the demo and I gotta say, this game looks/plays better than the screenshots/trailers led me to believe. There are a few hiccups here and there in terms of minor bugs but nothing that can't be easily addressed.
