Getting rid of pests on mass? Or preventing? Cutting flowers needs to change (RSI).
Is there a way to mass-rid of pests from the garden? I sometimes get days when there are 20 or so plants in the garden that got pests... walking and clicking every one of them every time is annoying. :( Is there a way to either prevent pests or just spray them away like with the water hose?

Also - cutting flowers... Is there a way to cut them by simply holding something? I'm not lazy, I have a strain in my hand and clicking thousands of times to harvest the flowers is starting to hurt... I don't want to end up with a wrist brace again, that sucked. :(

PS: Great game! :)

/cheers

Hi! If I remember correctly, you can get an anti-pest service when you unlock the notice board just left the garden gate.
Also, I notice that the pest are spawning less on plants near the insect house, but I can't tell for sure.
About cutting flowers, there's no holding button u can click, but you can speed the process by cutting directly on the roots of the bushes :)

Yeah, that insect house seems to be doing something... not sure what but... it might have something to do with pests. :)

Another thing is the weeds. Now weeds can be unsightly but if you plant like a bush (or two) in a corner, but not backed way up into a corner (kind of making a fencing area) and just allow the weeds to grow there, enough of them will drive off the pests. I had actually done this accidentally near the garden shed where it met the river. I had planted a rose bush by the shed not realising the strip of land along the river behind it can grow things so weeds began to grow back there. I just let it, it seems to be enough weeds to keep most of the pests away but not so many that it would dry the other plants up.

I also noted that the plant book had notations about pests for each plant, so I suspect some plants attract pests and others repel, but I haven't gotten a chance to fully experiment with it.
