I still need to try the 'trick' because I've been having a fair amount of crashes (I was pretty rich when I unlocked the board, and I couldn't progress until I only requested one upgrade on the board instead of them all at once - maybe something for the creators to look into)
I found that aiming the shears at the base of the plant and double clicking tends to cut the whole plant (with some trial and error), in case that helps you specifically in the meantime!
As for the requests, if you press R on the keyboard, it brings up the mail you got, and you can swap through the requests outside of the dropbox. But it would be nice to have either an overview or a notification on seeds/flowers in your storage to see them - I do write them down when I am fulfilling multiple requests.
I have to agree with the plant/flower & seed sorting that would really free up a lot of lost time since when you are in any of the storage/crafting areas game time is not paused. Also, the plant/flower limit is extremely low especially when you start getting all the variants later down the story line. Finally, the whole Jasmine flower thing is really bugging me. I have two different game saves & in each of those two game saves I have planted them the same exact way, but they have grown entirely differently.
So... Other way to cut the flowers please. Don't give us a harvester, just holding the button instead of clicking will be enough.
Thank you so much for a very detailed feedback. Our team gets everything that is posted in discussions. We really appreciate it!
I would love to have longer days with more sunlight to enjoy my garden. It feels like day is only like 5 minutes and suddenly it's 5pm and the shop is closed....
It feels like they could have easily taken some mechanics from other games (especially in terms of sorting, animal crossing, palworld, minecraft and so on.... but decided on purpose to not do it for a more "slowed down" experience. When in reality it does not make it more cozy and slowed down but more "complicated". These mechanics are simply useful for a smoother game experience. :)
Edit: Just arrived in autumn and it's really hard on my eyes. Weird sepia filter. I guess I will just skip everyday by Bus.
Good point! Time running so fast!
When you have a lot of planted flowers is sometimes hard to distinguish them, (especially the roses variants).
And I also want a more real seasonal variation, you can't plant tulips in the winter and harvest them outside...
Same here - I'm a guy, I have no clue about flowers, especially not in my native tongue. :) I often find myself cutting one of them to see what they are. :) Also the plates that you can plant in the ground are just decoration right? They can't show the name or even the picture of the flower that they are next to, right?
I agree. You can end the day at any time, or even make time pass while on the bench, so there shouldn't be any issue with making the days longer.
I really missed the key R for that overview! my fail xD
Also does anyone know how to remove plants? I was at my plant limit before expanding and I don't wanna hit it again.
Remove plants with the shovel. Also, I have become successful with jasmine by doing what was advised elsewhere; if it isn't growing, trim the plant and let it regrow. You may have to do this MANY times, but eventually the plant will do what you want.
No it's fine lol I just started playing and still trying to figure out buttons XD Though definitely wish the days were longer...it's like "walk in, water, go to sleep" o_o And your idea of a cutting upgrade was on point!
