Guys, is the game stressful?
Is this yet another one of those stressful "relaxing" cozy sims? You know, where you have a 5-minute day/night cycle and you pass out if you don't go to bed. Also, I don't like games where your plants just die or get stolen or get infested and you don't know that something is missing until you suddely do. Anyrhing on that? Thanks.

As Nachtkater mentioned, there are clear indicators for everything that you need to do with plants, so don't worry, they won't randomly die on you. And they can't get stolen either! Our intention was to create a very relaxing and cosy experience, rather than a stressful gardening sim game. And you control the day cycle as well, so until you use the bus stop, the day won't end. And when it's nighttime, the plants don't grow and consume any water as well (there will be a pop-up about that). Only after you end the day, you need to tend to them if they have any needs.

In terms of warering and pests, there are clear visual indicators to act.
Regarding passing out - so far I managed to get through the first week and had enough time to get everything done.
So far I haven‘t noticed timers on tasks.
At the end of the day, you get a small notice at the side of the screen. I haven‘t REALLY pushed it yet but seems to me that you won‘t pass out.

Thank you for confirmation!
So I basically can ignore that ticking pocketwatch menu unless it‘s sunlight related on that very day :)

Wow, that is amazing! And I quite like the size of the areas as well. One thing that made me give up on many farming games was that they require lots of running around in huge maps. This is not the case here. I still need to figure out how much content Garden Life has and if it merits the price tag for me. But this game definitely jumped to first place on my gaming list.

I love the laid-back, easy going nature of the game. The only stress that I've had in the game are from a couple of bugs (the clippers meant to cut the flowers will cut everything EXCEPT the flowers, killing the plants - AND - the usual nonsensical limits on personal storage and moving crap constantly). The devs are super responsive and it is hopeful those will get taken care of very soon.

I find the game very relaxing. (except the sound of the bugs) I turned down the sound effects and that has helped with that. (plus it's just a personal preference). The plants that get infected with bugs are easily taken care of with bug spray (you can get the tool for free from Leslie's store). If you don't want the limiting things, or quests, there's a mode that you can just create whatever.
For me it was a great investment. :)
