Suggestion: Variant Seeds

I ran into the issue of not being able to easily identify my variant seeds. When i bulk collect them, they get lost in all of the collected seeds, and i inadvertently ended up selling one without realizing it was a variant. Is there a way to implement a color or border that distinguishes them?

The packets DO have a colored border that shows what color(s) the flowers will be.....

I will fully admit that the border isn't that great. Especially for wild seeds or the Alfred and Claude Roses as they're very similar in colouring.

What I do is give each flower their own ''box or drawer'' and the same for seeds.
The game wil autofill the stacks first so when seeds and/or flowers go into the storage they wil go into their own drawer (unless the stack is full)
So i just try and keep at least one of each in de drawer so it sort of autofill

This way I can find my flowers and/seeds more easier.

I hope I explained it clearly enough

omfg thats genius my drawers are like color coded for the flowers themselves and then the seeds are in order by flower type. I had to redo it tweo or three times as i didnt anticipate too many flowers but its difficult to find the ones I'm looking for.

I also struggled with my sorting system before i got this system.

btw I also filled my first drawer with leaves, so that I can ''dump'' everything and then see if anything didnt sorted correctly

You could leave the first drawer empty so every 'new' colored seed or plant lands on the first page while everything else just goes to it's slot - at least that works for me!

I will fully admit it has taken me way too long to realise that if my inventory overfills it will auto stack anything that isn't stacked to the max, and because I leave my first two drawers empty I now know that if a flower didn't stack it means I have 99 sitting around somewhere if it's not a new flower.

It has made it quicker for me to make choices on when to craft something to cull my drawers or sell things off. Still clunky system but it's weird how once you play long enough there are tricks to dealing with storage.

Right, they have a border showing the color but I meant more a highlighted border or something similar to notate its a new flower rather than just hoping i remember when collecting the seeds :)
