Super Mini Mart

Super Mini Mart

A few suggestions for the game
I love these kinds of games but the way that sometimes the time management is presented or handled it kinda stresses me out. So a few suggestions:

* A way within game mechanic to mitigate the degradation of stock further and/or through game option, better yet an option to remove it completely
- Rationale: Some people play for fun/escape and some want realism both are valid ways of interacting with a game, so why not offer options from the super chill to the more realistic. Through that, you could even offer options to make things harder... for the weirdos (half joke)

* A secondary option to start the next day at the end of the shift.
- Rationale: It sort of makes more sense to do stock taking at the end of the day rather than the start as you cant really control what is bought. (stick that in your KPI pipe and smoke it former retail job)

* Remove customer collisions with each other, player and when the staff are added them too.
- Rationale: I've seen it mentioned... (customers getting "stuck", or trapping the player) not sure exactly how to handle it and I get it adds a bit of silly vibe to the game which I do love... but... maybe its causing more issues than its worth?

* Add the ability through game mechanic to "specialize" your store.
- Rationale: Well places like butchers and green grocers exist and i wouldn't expect either of those to sell what the other does. From there you can theme your store around what you specialize in and that could provide some bonuses. I just like the idea of turning my "mart" into a off licence (wine lodge, liquor store) and if so... its a bit strange for people to come into that sort of store and want fruit/ vegetables etc. From there you can still sell other items but they receive a slight sales de-buff.

* Get steam deck verified if you can, at some point
- Rationale: With the controller support (thanks again) this probably wont be too difficult and I'm sure we all understand might have to wait for launch. The moment I played this game that was just the first thing that sprang to mind "This would be GREAT on the Steam Deck"

That's about all I have for now. Its a good job so far so keep up the good work.

I agree with the chill and realistic options for sure! Id love a more realistic challenge but I know many want the chill experience so options would be great
