4 player couch co-op possible?

Tomorrow night, I'll have my childhood friends dropped by. And I plan to setup 4 player couch co-op Bomberman R2. I have 4 gamecube controller and a 4 player gamecube gamepad/pc converter.

Will it work?

if steam can recognize the gc adapter with the gc controller, then yes, it should be possible as long as the game supports couch co-op/controller support
