Night vision problems

I don't have a picture or anything but when i go to use the NVGs they don't work when i push N he pulls them down but then the screen goes black and they don't turn i thought it was i forgot to take my sunglasses off but when i did i didn't work. Then I tired all the battery packs and all the different googles but none of the worked when i go into controls they don't even show up on my list. Is there a way to fix this?
