flashlight not working

does anyone else have the problem of when you put a PEQ(laser) unit on your gun flashlights i.e surefire m600v no longer work as flashlights they are completely useless, as far as i am aware flashlights will only work if they are standalone on a gun

i think its cause the ir light on the peq is turning on instead of the flashlight, i had this problem, but if you hold down the flashlight button, it should switch to using the actual flashlight

hold the flashlight button down two different times, im pretty sure that atleast for me the order goes ir light(peq box), then ir light(flashlight), then regular light on the flashlight
