Strictly solo in SP or team AI?
I'm pretty sure it's the former but I only became aware of the game today so I am finding out what I can. I see plenty of friendly squad members in gameplay videos but I assume that's coop. I am currently lone-wolfing in Ground Branch, waiting for buddy AI to be implemented (soon) but if there is friendly AI in this game, I will get it right away. Many thanks.

Co-Op only at the moment and in very early development. The game is very tactile and impressive for a solo dev; the firearms are excellent and highly manipulable - even the sound fx for them are excellent. Each patch, which are always released quicker than I'd expect, make big improvements to QoL and optimisation. I have high hopes for this one.

Many thanks for your welcome and helpful response. I may well check this out now.

Sorry, to be clear, you can play 'Lone Wolf' and select the number of tango's on a map accordingly (I generally prefer to play solo and would love AI buddies in the future). And I didn't go into detail about weapon manipulation - LSHIFT+T racks the slide / charges the bolt and CTRL+T does a press check. They are also HIGHLY customisable.
This is from the dev's Youtube channel, on which he is very responsive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mt0qOjZrmxQ

You can play solo if you want to on LoneWolf, quite a bit of the time I am away from home so I just mainly play Solo when I am away travelling around.

Random times I joined players who were taking a break from Rainbow Six, Hell Let Loose, Squad, ect. It was a rad roleplay session with those players.

If you check discord, Vector & Micro has a tab on the server that lists the controls that are implemented in the current build.

Where are these controls? I see nothing for flashlight or changing firearms

Have you checked on the official discord? There's a section with the current implemented list of controls available under the #quick-start-guide tab

I switched my controls around on my mouse & keyboard, so I don't recall what the default controls are atm.

I got L set for Light, Mouse thumb button 3 set for Laser. Reload set to Mouse Thumb Button 2. You will need to use infrared lights for more clear range with Night vision.
