Can't aim down sight glitch

Sometimes, when I go to aim down sight my gun just... won't. Is this a known bug? Like I'll be able to aim down my sights for a bit, but sometimes it just won't let me, and I'll have to change out my kit in order to fix it.

this is a normal thing to experience after making a new weapon system build to fix it leaving and rejoining works just fine for me

I know this is going to sound stupid but how do i activate the magnifier sight.

Hold down Left Alt & then use mouse wheel scroll.
