this dude thinks smackdown 1 and 2 had different controls.... wow. i can't believe i missed that part. you can tell he never played them. he is just going off of what he found with a quick google search. he tried to say samackdown 1 doesn't have a grapple button cuz the control lay out he found was wrong and just said Circle was for irish whips and what not. LOL thanks for proving me right. Circle is the irish whip and grapples button on smackdown 1 2 3 and 4. 5th game is here comes the pain where they switched it to play more like the AKI games but circle was still grapple.

Havent played smackdown 1 in like 20 years lol. I remember playing it after 2, and it being borderline unplayable.

How does HCTP play like an AKI game?
From smackdown 2 to current day 2k, they pretty much all play the same.

Might be circle. Might be right stick. Sometimes the grapple system is 2 layers deep, sometimes 3. Its all the same though.

Well said.

If there is a second game Indeed, hope they include several Game modes, a deep customization for create a wrestler, arena and why not a title.
A career mode similar to universe mode and well, an updated roster with Legends.

Give them plenty of time to do it, no rush and no demands. We do not need a wwe 2k copy or a remake of old PS1/N64 era games, we need something fresh.

Honestly if they make a second game, I really hope it's more Smackdown vs RAW and less No Mercy. I don't think the old AKI style works for Yukes.

Been watching a ton of gameplay and so far this game looks good. I plan to purchase this game soon because eventually this game will be delisted due to licensing. When this day comes, this game will be highly sought after. Those who doubted this game or listened to the loud minority who hate on this game will be upset they never gave it a try

Wait for a sale and buy the most complete edition so you get all the roster.
Not a bad game, i'm complete maybe, but you can really enjoy it
