Does anyone else feel the same way about this game?
I honestly love this game, but at the same time I still feel disappointed. I don't understand how I can thoroughly enjoy a game and yet still feel like there is a lot more to be desired. I hate how this game penalizes you for having a long drawn out match-up. I don't want a match to end in under three-to-five minutes. That's completely pointless. Why are you grading me on match time? I don't care about match quality since WWE games do that, but match time pisses me off. I'd rather be the Queen of D's and F's at this rate.

I love the mixture of the more modern limb damage system with the retro adrenaline system from wrestling games' past. But I hate how once I get a wrestler into that 'danger' zone it's almost a guaranteed win.

The other big disappointment is the creation suite. This game literally has every name in existence and would allow the ring announcer to say any combination of names in the game. This means you could literally have Roman Reigns, but what is the point if the creation suite is complete ass? Ironically, the only wrestler that you can make and actually make them look good is Triple H.

Stadium Stampede is also hard to get a game going due to a lack of player base. I wish they would have given the option to play with bots. But this mode is still fun.

I hate how every time I decide to play this game, it just feels half polished and half arsed compared to what it could have been or what it could be now with all of the DLCs. I don't mind the DLC since they're not WWE and releasing their game every year.

Who else feels this same bittersweet taste whenever you play this game?

Same here, got this game on a sale and feels really fresh to be honest. Yes, it has outdated rooster in terms of actual talent, but it has lots of good characters.

The game modes are really run, what's the point of having 200 types of matchs when you only play the same ones.

The creator mode is not that bad, one should use imagination sometimes.

A shame it doesnt have an universe mod or something like that.

Played wwe 2k24 this week, it's new, yes, but it plays really clunky.

AEW FF plays better in terms of matches, they feel more polished.

WWE 2k24 feels to me like a good wwe World simulador, but an horrible game to play Wrestling.

Had more fun playing this one. If you want, we can play sometime.

The creation suite is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. There is nothing to be apologetic about. It is what it is. The developers just didn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about actually giving something of quality here.

"The game modes are really run, what's the point of having 200 types of matchs when you only play the same ones."

This logic doesn't make any sense.

"WWE 2k24 feels to me like a good wwe World simulador, but an horrible game to play Wrestling."

If it's a good world simulator then that means it's the best game to play wrestling. Matches would follow real life. I'm not understanding the logic here either.

The creator is not thaaaat bad, not a lot of faces, but you can do lots of caws with imagination. The announcer library is a wonder. Can literally name an entire rooster.
Yes, it can be bothersome that there are not many cosmetic options, but there are numerous intro songs and moves.
Again, can be better ?? It's abandoned? Yes. But it's not bad.
A shame I cant create titles.

About the second point, aew has a few game modes, but solid in terms of arcade type of wrestling.
It lacks a Cage Match and a couple more of matches? Yes, not always diversity comes in quality.

About my last point. wwe 2k24 is a good simulator, to be honest Universe mode is the only good part of this game for me.
I played a couple of matches and I didnt like the no-sell of the moves, the minigames for pin and submission, I prefer the old raw vs smackdown system. The AI matches are fun, but I want to play a Match once in a while and this game won't let me play it, it has horrible controls in comparison to old wwe games.

AEW FF was an overpriced game with lack of content and I wouldnt reccommend it outside a sale.
But it is more fun to me than WWE 2k24 to play matches.

AEW should have a sequel with a more updated rooster, include Aew Legends, a more solid creation suite, a couple more of matches type and the possibilty to book your own universe but with the arcade type of matches and it would be better than the WWE "simulator" we got.

If you ask me to choose, I stay with the aew game and old wwe games

Again, its only my personal opinion and point of view.

@Rocsen Being apologetic is the reason why nothing of quality will ever get made.

Microtransactions and corporate greed is why we don't get the quality games we deserve

wrestling code is never gonna come out. ultra pro is closer to coming out and is gonna have deep CAW and universe modes.

If thats the case, UPW will be my choice. Only hope they live up with the promises
I'm sure Ultra Pro Wrestling will be fun but it looks like a mobile game. It is better than Empire Wrestling which looks terrible. I'm sorry but no amount of workshopping can change the fact that $15 is still too much for it.

If it is a fun, functional game and deliver what is promises, I could give it a try. Wrestling Empire sure is fun, graphically básico, but fun. It's a mix of a parody and independent wrestling promo sim.
