No True Female Storyline

So here we are 2023 and there's no true female storyline, you have a little 5 minute one at the beginning the rest is wrestling males with your female character over and over, including winning the TNT title..
Heck CM Punk shows up and challenges Abadon (who I'm play through with) to a match at the PPV, sorry Punk would never do that..

Come on, this is just completely lazy development, the WWE game can have both sexes storylines...geez.....

This 100% those matches between Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker have been insanely awesome and wholesome, and they have come a long way since the days of TRISH STRATUS AND MICKIE JAMES doing mud wrestling and lingerie matches and DIVA Competitions.

i can't count the amount of times, Britt Baker has broken her nose, and same for Toni Storm they go all in and give it everything they have! they are amazing athletes! Toni Storm is a bloody legend!

TBS CHAMPION at the time JADE CARGILL were insane (i know there are haters and for some part i understand) but we took this lady and she turned herself into a star and everything was so great, her moves, her victories, her entrances, her appearances she brought meaning for the TBS CHAMPION. SHE HAS TRAINED HARD and getting with more experience thanks BRYAN DANIELSON.

But the story-line for the female roster lacks specially being the elite story mode, all they do is fight male wrestlers and become a TNT Champion, why not the AEW Womens Champion or TBS Champion?

I don't agree with anything you've said but that's not really relevant to anything. Maybe if you spent more time playing this game instead of whining about how the women's storymode isn't amazing you'd know that Block 1C is literally called "Women's Championship" and is about becoming the first AEW Women's Champion. There are 12 storyline blocks (1A - 1C, 2A - 2C, 3A - 3C, and 4A - 4C) and your performance determines which one you got into. Sounds like you botched your way through storymode and got whatever storylines you got.

Right so, yes there is a female story at the start, I won the first female title match, but if you don't retain the womans championship title you know what happens, you spend the rest of the story mode wrestling men, called out by CM Punk, 4 way with 3 men , no second chance, no branching female focus story, no chance to wrestle another female wrestler again.
Even if you "botch" one match it should not lead to you being put in the ring with men for the rest of the game, doesn't make a lot of sense honestly.
Unless it's a bug changing your flag to male hence it becomes a male focused story including winning the TNT title.

Storylines do not carry over between blocks. The storyline you get after Block 1 is completely random and so on. Its impossible to botch it.

Game put Abadon up against nothing but men after 1 loss at the start of the game, seems "random" doesn't it..

So now let someone with an actual brain like the devs look into it seeing I was talking about my personal experience of the first time run with a female AEW character.

I hope they add a female storyline to RTE. There's already a massive 14 playable women (15 when Bunny arrives). I'm sure they can do something fun with just the women and female storyline of chasing the Womens belt and TBS title.

It should've been more, but to it's credit they let the female wrestlers into the male story straight up, which honestly I did enjoy.

But my last experience with a women's story was one that was both restricted and shorter than the male version, so not a huge bar for me unfortunately.

I appreaciate the idea that all wrestlers in the game are just that, wrestlers. doesn't matter if you are male or female you can fight and win every championship in the game. that's the freedom I hoped for in this game. it adds a nice indipendent league touch. female have one advantage because the can carry one title more on top and that's the woman championship.

for RTE, well...it's fine so far. my female wrestler goes after the woman championship my male for the aew world championship. about the story branches can't tell that much, only played 3 times trough it so far an missing a lot of branches I never touched trough my progress.

The Male focused story is really barebones as well. This first entry is more about the gameplay and getting that right, which is off to a good start. There's always hoping the DLC is specifically made to add more congruence to the RTE mode in terms of weight class and divisions. I'd really like a story that takes place only on AEW Dark or Rampage or just the Main Show. Its a lot like Smackdown 1 in terms of robust suites and modes. Its fun and has some stuff to play with.

Yeah, they cheaped-out here (like on quite another few things in the game) quite extreme. When they promoted "intergender-matches" before release people were exited, but in the end, it is mainly a cost-saving thing to not develop a female story path. Considering I had only four(!) matches against other females (and two of them were optional), playing and completing RTE with female talent felt really weird. The same goes for tag-team-wrestlers, even if they are set as a team. Considering, especially as a singleplayer, there isn't much content besides RTE and you have to replay this mode again and again, it really feels very under-cooked.

So, you can become the first female world Champion, and women are equal to men in this game? They're not forced into catty story lines where they give each other Soccer Mom Caliber Insults? They're not perpetuating female stereotypes? Yes... Yes, how dare they. 😂
