CAW?
This is the only feature I care about as its what I did in No Mercy. How customizeable are the create parts and is the move list large enough for say 20 CAWs? Also how are ring entrances and ring music handled?

It's very limited. If you plan to buy this game for CAW you should wait. Oh, and another thing, when you finish Road to Elite, if you decide to do it again your stats and skills are all reset for your CAW. For me that one thing just killed all my motivation and I see no reason to continue playing this until this is fixed.

I can deal with limited CAW and I don't mind grinding, but resetting all the progress I made on a previous run is where I draw the line.

Wait, seriously?! I just started Road to Elite with my CAW and if this is legit it's officially killed my motivation to continue.
I like how this game plays but between this and the Smackdown 1 tier CAW system I may have to just give up on it until these two issues are improved.

The appearance options are very limited at this time. I don't think the move sets are as limited at all. The moves in CAW are handled almost exactly like No Mercy. The moves have evolved some, as you now have more situations for actions that No Mercy could not do, like specific moves for a player against the ropes, stuff like that, and you can choose every one of them. But the way they are applied is very much in No Mercy's spirit. The lack of cosmetic options is a real issue.

Hopefully they add more stuff as time goes on. But at this point in time the CAW is just not there yet. So if CAW is your main thing, you can wait and see if it gets better.

Another issue is that CAWs start out as level 1 scrubs. The ONLY way to level them up is to play the story mode. This is a big problem if you just want to create a bunch of CAWs for fun, because they will be painfully weak against any standard wrestler on the roster.

Perhaps modders might come to the rescue on these fronts. But you can't count on that.

Yeah, it's unfortunate. I really enjoy this game too, but when your progress on your CAW completely resets when doing another run of RTE with them, it's just stupid. When I did RTE, I never expected to get all maxed stats and to get all skills on the initial run, and I didn't. It wasn't even close in fact. My plan was then to just grind the rest of them, and it should have been a simple enough task.

Such a shame... I just want to get my CAW to be the best they can be and beat up everyone, but clearly that ain't happening. Hopefully this is fixed soon, along with other problems they have.

A lot of moves aren't in - full nelson, rear naked choke, full nelson slam, lots of common moves.

CAW is limited enough that you're going to have some trouble fleshing out an entire roster full of guys without repeating the same moves between at least a few of them.

There are really, really good bones here, but they simply need to add more.

The biggest negative I can give as far as the CAW goes is when you're assigning, say, finish or signature moves, you get -the entire list- of moves with no way to filter it as far as I can see. It's pretty cumbersome.

Customization is ♥♥♥♥, and CAWs are too limited.

Oh nice! I'm sorry that u dont like it, but i always wonder if i can start fresh with my already created wrestler in Road to Elite. It can be like a respec mode or some such but with a storyline and all. Besides, we can always create a new and multiple Wrestler if you somehow messed up ur character during Road to Elite. I kinda like it. :Lorelei:

It would be so much better if that was optional though rather than just shoved down our throats. Someone like me who pretty much mainly focuses on CAWs it's a huge problem.
