Canned Crowd Chants
I have never watched an AEW show before getting this game. I quickly found myself watching clips of fights (not fight forever) on YouTube. The one things that strikes me is how accurate the crowd chants are to the real world matches. That is, until I realized that the crowd chants for the live events are canned.

So my question to AEW fans is: was this always a thing or just something that started when Fight Forever came out. As soon as I hear “This is awesome!” “♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥” I laugh at the fact that nobody in the crowd is actually chanting.

Tell me you've never been to a wrestling show without telling me you've never been to a wrestling show.

I must have something wrong with my computer I'm not hearing the chants. Or any other sounds now that I think about it.

Not canned, just most main event wrestlers there know how to work up the crowd. To be fair, they get a chance to perform their skill without someone looking down their shoulder. As in other company, guys from backstage tell the wrestlers where to look, how to look, when to look etc. So it is really hard to react back to the crowd that way. Leaving fans feeling less motivated to get creative. (like when someone threw the sausage to the ring, Jericho picked it up and asked the crowd who threw it. Which started wiener chant)
