My thoughts on the demo
I'll (try to) keep it simple.
- The game definitely needs control customization. Hopefully it'll be there in the full game.
- I really enjoyed the exploration in the game and finding hidden items. But the game can definitely benefit from map markers. There were a number of times where I had no idea where on the map a particular item was, nor how to get back to it.
- I saw some people mentioning that they felt they need the character to be able to attack up and downwards. Early in the game the player might feel limited, but as I progressed and unlock abilities etc, that feeling went away. You get plenty of tools at your disposal to deal with enemies at various angles. The ability to attack up/downward is not necessary at all. Given how the combat is designed in this game, it would be way to easy.
- I was initially surprised the dash didn't have i-frames, but eventually I adapted to it. Might be cool as an in-game upgrade, but after playing a while I feel this also isn't necessary.
- There's an odd bug where after you unlock the arcade, if you try to interact with the games (at least I think those are supposed to be the arcade games?), it kicks you back to the title screen.

Over all I enjoyed the demo and look forward to the full release.

Thank you very much for all your thoughts Raggit! We'll keep improving and adjusting... your feedback is invaluable!
+1 to custom map markers. Given the simplicity of the map, they'd be a massive help.
