Looking forward to evolution of this great game, I get excited every time I see an update drop. One thing, maybe consider just a few tweaks to the difficulty of headbanger (sorry!); I like that he's supposed to hit hard but I feel like I'm doing pretty good and by the time I crawl outta that fight (if I even do) I'm like barely alive for the rest of the run...
Love you guys!!
I've been playing since launch with no glitches or crashes. In the 20 minutes since applying this patch, though, I've experienced 2 instances of biomes that load with all landmasses, characters, and items invisible (effects and he interface seem to show up, and I can move around and interact with things when the button prompt displays) and a crash to desktop when attempting to move to the next biome. Each one happened on a fresh launch of the game.
that was a bug? Noooooo! RIP infinite protectfish cheese :D
I'll double check if I have reporting enabled, but I also posted a more detailed bug report (containing an error message I noticed on subsequent crashes and PC spec info) on the Bug Reports discussion board.
EDIT: I can confirm that bug reporting was enabled for those crashes.
Steam Cloud Support is more useful because as it stands now, this game requires us to be online in order to access our cloud save. If we are an in area without an internet connection (for example when using a Steam Deck on the go) we are not able to access the cloud save. Steam Cloud Support would fix this issue. Please consider implementing it. Thank you.
If I recall correctly, on Dead Cells, there was a way around this. I think you create the save offline, then you go online and then load it. Then the save gets put in the cloud (like a regular cloud save) but also gets updated offline as well. I don't remember if you have to 'disable' the wifi while online for this to work or not--I do remember you have to do something like this in Spyro: Trilogy in order to get the save linked to a local save.
But the save you created directly while first online isn't accessible offline.
While I appreciate the info, having to do a workaround like this is far from ideal. Enabling Steam Cloud Support would be much more seamless and user-friendly.
