As for hot springs refilling flasks, consider that at higher difficulties there won’t be any hot spring to begin with ( they are some sort of short break meant for the starting difficulties, allowing the players to push forward and learn the game without having to restart too often ).
While it may seem harder at the beginning, I suggest you to Just take your time to overcome the first difficulty and unlock some new gifts/weapons and passives.
Oh, I knew that, I've already unlocked that gift (and all 3 extra flasks), and I know about the saunas not being there as often on higher difficulties as I've ran a couple of expeditions on Cloudy with a friend.
My complaint is that there is no way to refill the flasks other than the shop. Which is kind of hardcore compared to Dead Cells where your hp AND your health flasks refill in the Passages (except on higher difficulties).
Windblown is brutal for beginners (I should know, I am one), and not being able to refill hp flasks as often as Dead Cells allows you to makes it more frustrating (to me at least)
But.... you said you knew that you had a different ways of refilling flask with gifts but say there isn't a way without shops. Your contradicting yourself.
I meant the base health bar flasks, not the extra flask given by the gift
