Are you immune while doing the animation for an Alterattack?

Having trouble verifying if you're immune during the casting animation for Alterattacks or not. I *think* you are but I'm not sure if I'm just misreading what's happening.

You're invulnerable during alterattacks, yes. I've found a few times that the invuln expires while I'm on a damage effect and even though I mash dodge I still get hit, so you may have noticed the same thing if you're not sure.

Some weapons have instant attacks with their alter, so you wouldn't be immune with them, but as long as their attack animation is playing you are immune yes. There is a semi secret weapon that has an extremely long alter attack and you cannot be hit during it.
