I like the concept, but I agree in it's current form it isn't fun

Sudden death is when you are playing coop and someone dies, you have to kill 10 enemies wihtout getting hit or you die

Some sort of balancing method to try to balance out the concept of that multiple players in the same game instance may have drastically different progression states, perhaps?
that's a stupid mechanic.

An easier one to implement would be for the players who are dead to revive, but take/share the HP of the others who are alive.

Kind of like oldschool coop games if the second player wanted to revive themselves. It's not "one-shot kill" punishing, but it definitely seems a lot more fair that way.
Sudden Death in Coop Singlehandedly ruins the game. It punishes players who want to play with friends and happen to be not as coordinated. If this stays, all it will inevitably do is isolate friend groups and cause rage between friends. That rage should be aimed at the game if your going to make the difficulty tilted against you, not towards your players.
Had this happen right before headbanger; feels too risky to make public groups.
Yeah, good Idea, bad in reality...

friend died just before a boss, left me zero option to recover the game

The ONLY think that makes this less oppressive btw is the fact that the weakest enemy type that doesnt even fight back counts towards this
I like it, personally. Similar to cursed chests in Dead Cells and it adds a little pressure for the last man standing.

forcefully dropping the entire team to 1 hp until 10 enemies or 2 strong enemies are killed is just incredibly unhealthy and leads to friction between players.

It ialso entirely nnvalidagtes some builds, like if you go for hp over damage to sustain more and then also get the 1 time revive,

Great, now instead of being a tank and coming back with 150 HP, instead you are dead in 2 hits
