I randomly slowed down on foot and idk why
I was walking like normal until randomly slowed down. helpp

Its your equipment load probably, some weapons are heavy. You can see it displayed on a computer where you select your loadout, anything above 30% or so started to feel noticably slower

You can pick up mech weapons to manually replace your loadout on the field, and those are HEAVY (they're just as strong in your hands as in the mech but very impractical due to the recoil and heavy weight). Your personal loadout is saved even if you die even though the mech is reset to your garage configuration so it's easy to miss.

You can press G to throw your current weapon, if you realize you're holding a gatling gun you don't remember picking up you can get rid of it that way. (There's two weapon slots, press the 2 key to cycle between them)

How do I change my on-foot weapons loadout? I'm able to change my equipment/armor just fine but changing my on-foot weapons loadout is more elusive for some reason.

Hi, You can change your weapons loadout in the same Window where You change your mech weapons
Carrying too much weight.
