Locked myself out of progress

I just got to the villiage of hunters, learnt how to make damascus steel, and progressed a bit more with the story. But wanted to upgrade my Caravan with the Ox, aka the light and floating hull etc. But a few of these upgrades needs the "Metal String" and I managed to find the chest with the recipie... only for me to have a full inventory, and destroying it... Now I have not clue how to make it and can't progress with upgrading since I can't get it or now how to make... Is there a way to find a new one or someone maybe can just point me tho how to make it?

Everytime you get an item, but your inventory is full, it gets sent to your village as a mail, maybe the recipe is there? if not, maybe you "learned" and its somewhere in your codex?

Went back to Villiage and checked mail box, no luck there, even upgraded house in case the storage was the one it should have been sent too. Looked trough the codex too, no luck it seems. Guess a reboot is all there is then, wish the recepies was learnt auto/stored away(Or added a similar fuction too the game in the future)

Metal string is 3 sharpened iron strips straight down the middle. You don't have to have the schematic to create it. It will give it to you after the first one

I checked mine here, the recipe for metal string is:
nothing - 1x1 iron sharpened strip - nothing
nothing - 1x1 iron sharpened strip - nothing
nothing - 1x1 iron sharpened strip - nothing

its basically the nails but on the vertical

You can "Discover" recipes without receiving the applicable blueprint; you can also "advance" tools this way (replace Iron with Steel, Damascus, etc.) as soon as you can get the applicable ingots.
