Stuck in "Lost to the Sands"

I have built all 4 parts and already put them in their place but the quest is still stuck on "Forge the items necessary to repair the alembic". Am i missing something or is this a bug?

Hey! The quest only unlocks when the parts are placed in the correct order. Are you still stuck after putting them in that order blue, yellow, purple, green.

I'm currently stuck on "a path to the future". I've built the bridge and it says to 'speak with myrtle' but she's not here, I can't travel away, and the only npc is willow who doesn't help right now. Any ideas?

Lucky2to2, which platform are you on and do you have a save that loads you before building the bug? On console, we’ve gotten reports of Myrtle not appearing when the bridge was already visited prior to having to repair it. This bug has already been fixed on Steam and should soon be on console! One way to work around it for now:
- fully quit the game
- open and launch a save from before starting the repairs.
- progress through the story until Myrtle asks to go fix the bridge
- fix the bridge before leaving the scene and Myrtle should appear.

Same problem on Xbox Lucky2to2, don't have a save from before starting the repairs, i'll wait the update 😕

Yea. It looks fully assembled and i can no longer move the parts

I spent all my resources building the Alembic device, put them in place, only to realize I needed to make one more.

I go back to my wagon to create the last one and when I returned to the site it deletes all your placed pieces. This whole quest is bugged very badly. Probably not going to continue playing since it's so annoying to make all the Alembic pieces to begin with.

I had the same problem with Lost in the sands
my error was

1. i built the first container
2. installed the first container
3. i built the rest of the containers
4. i installed the rest of the containers
5. the game did not progress from "built everything necessary" and i could not deconstruct them because they were already in the right order

just to check i built all of them again. once i had all containers in my inventory the quest progressed to "install the built containers". but as they were already installed, i could not complete the quest.

as i slept multiple days between those steps i now have to start all over again

Can confirm this bug is currently on Xbox One. I just encountered it after building the bridge now I have to do it all again.

I had a similar but distinct problem.
i had assembled and placed the four items before i started the quest (before i finished the metal bird quest)
when i was given the quest to go to the ruins those machines were gone.
i then had to reassemble them all and replace, but that worked fine.
just frustrating.

I did the same exact thing(built during bird quest), but when I went back to the ritual site the machines were still there.. however it still says that I need to find a way to repair them

Ive got bug in the house on swamps. There is a riddle to put items next to table. During that mission i must turn off xbox. At the next day when i load save. Items like flower, dissapeared. There is no way to pass that location without this items. Loading again cant fix it

Had the same problem on “a path to the future”, ps4. Myrtle didnt appear after I completed the bridge. I came back to the main menu, went to the bridge that remained complete, myrtle was at the village with the yellow “!” but I cant talk to her

Stuck on Lost to the Sands and I have tried everything to either get the repair to trigger or maybe have the already placed components disappear. I am so far into this with the crafting and progression, really don't want to be forced to reset at this point.
