Be careful! In case of a mistake made during the modification, the game may begin to function incorrectly or stop working at all! Modify the game or install modifications solely at your own risk!

To create your own localization, open the game folder and navigate to \The Art of War_Data\StreamingAssets\Localization. Inside the folder there will be files with default localizations.
To create a new localization, simply make a duplicate of the English localization and name it the language into which you are translating. The title must be in English! For example, "Latvian". Next, just edit the text fields following the syntax of the JSON language. Do not modify the keys of the text strings!
Do not delete the English file from the folder – this language is used as the default language and is loaded into the game first!
In the game, you can replace the default cards illustrations with your own.
To do this, open the folder with the game and navigate to \The Art of War_Data\StreamingAssets\.
Create a "Cards" folder.
Add to this folder the illustration you want to see in the game. The image must be in . jpg format and extension and must have a resolution of 200 pixels wide and 280 pixels high.
Your illustration must now be correctly named. To do this, you need to rename the file with the picture so that the name of the file coincides with the name of the card in the English localization. For example, if you want to replace the illustration for the leader of the Gretunion Tsardom faction, then your file should be named "Vladislav IV.jpg». The correct names of the cards can be found in the English localization of the game - see the section above.
To do this, open the folder with the game and navigate to \The Art of War_Data\StreamingAssets\.
Create a "Music" folder.
Copy the new music file to this folder and name it "main". Supported file formats are mp3 and wav.
Create a "Battle" folder.
Copy your tracks to this folder. The game supports audio recordings in .mp3 and .wav format only.
To do this, open the folder with the game and navigate to \The Art of War_Data\StreamingAssets\.
Create a "Sounds" folder.
Add files in the .mp3 or .wav format. Name the files so that the file names match the names of the cards in the English localization of the game. For example, if you want to replace the phrase for the leader of the Greatunion Tsardom, then your file should be named "Vladislav IV. mp3". The correct names of the cards can be found in the English localization of the game.
Not before the release of tabletop edition of the game for sure. Currently, we are working on support for mobiles platforms and preparing the production of tabletop games. It will take some time. I will be able to answer on your question only after the release of mobiles, because campaign mode requires a lot of resources, but we do not monetize PC version of the game.
