It will run in Win 8 10 11.

It will not run in high res.

It was made in a custom game engine meant to emulate 90s games.

Dude there have been millions of retro looking indie games, 8 bit looking ones and even ones that emulate CGA era graphics but are not limited to 320x200 res...

320x200! How's that even going to be viewable through modern displays????? Have you tried looking at 144p videos on modern displays? I have and texts aren't readable at all, the aliasing is insane.

It scales up, there isnt AA. If you have an issue with the res it may be time to look for a new EA title to follow?

You may think that, but it doesn't make you any less wrong.

The engine he built doesn't support modern resolutions. Looking at the store page you'll see this is clearly meant to be a throwback to older DOS titles.

The game doesnt have anti-aliasing when it runs in full screen. Which you would know if you looked at any of the screenshots on Steam.

If you read the game system requirements you would have already known it runs on Windows 10.

Anyways, none of that is changing. So like, you can go now.

well anyway... the full sized screenshots provided on the store page are in 1280x800 res... and even then they have big aliasing there... let alone how it would look like in real 320x200 res, sooo... lol.

I think there’s a misunderstanding. The game’s “native” resolutions is 320x200 but it will scale up to whatever monitor resolution you have. So the game will play at 1920x1080, but will be “pixelized”. Just like the 90s games were. Whenever you see a game with “pixel graphics”, that’s generally what it is: a game whose native resolution is low, but will play at a higher resolution, and each pixel ends up being a blocky square of multiple pixels.

A whole lot of today's gamers really misunderstand resolutions, i used to be a programmer on the C64 which also had a resolution of 320x200 but it would display perfectly well on a modern screen of say 1920x1080 so don't go confusing it with small screen or poor quality graphics, it's just detail and nothing more.

Wtf are you talking about? The only way 320x200 or lower res worked on the old days was because of monitor tech like CRT that used different mechanism to display the image so that it did not matter at that time, but now days such image wouldn't be readable on modern displays.

A programmer from c64 era would have known this, you're not fooling me, lol.

if it wasn't readable don't you think the dev would realise that and maybe not employ that resolution?? stop acting dumb

I agree! It is atrocious to think everyone has a rig capable to run a resolution as high as 320x200. Dear Developer, stop being lazy and offer at least 160x100 support.

The reason low res YouTube videos look as they do has more to do with being butchered by compression than just the resolution. It's not full 144p/240p/360p quality by a long shot.

That said, I doubt it outputs a native 320x200 resolution because modern Windows would indeed throw a tantrum if that was the case.

The important question is if there'll be Adlib support or if it's PC speaker only?
