Thanks a lot for your feedback, well It's something we never thinking about, just give us some time to implement something to avoid this kind of problems.
If the pick up was in the heaps, that will be fine? (I say that, because putting on the drums set can generate problems with some special cases)
Thanks
I wouldn't expect anyone to think about this honestly, it's not very common! The fact you are even willing to look into it is awesome :D
Honestly, anywhere that isn't on my back would be fine - Even just being able to turn around and seeing the sticks floating where my "back" should be would be fantastic - Whatever is easiest for your team to implement and makes the most sense.
But something about the sticks kinda ruins my experience and hands:
With the "hold" option, I grip the Index capacitive hard so they don't drop involuntary,
With the "toggle" option, I still have to grip hard so I don't toggle again and drop them.
This makes my hands hurts after 2 songs
I think an option to have them always in our hands during the songs is indispensable like in BeatSaber.
(It may be part of the gameplay to drop them ? I only played some levels in the demo)
We are already holding controllers, no need to press them
Congratulations on the game, it's fun :)
Hi Rocker!
We are currently studying an extra grab mode that makes the drumstick keep sticked at your hand but more harder to drop.
For now we recommend toggle mode but if you want to keep them and not accidently drop them at the Overlay Menu of Steam VR you can remap the "grab drumstick" button to a different button.
Hope you like the game, we are always listening the community for improvements.
Alternatively, I've noticed that I can put my controllers on my chest and grab the drumsticks as well.
Hope that helps!
With this mode enabled it will be easier for you to grab the sticks with the devices that have precision problems in the back.
