What is Hammerwatch: Anniversary Edition?
It is a remaster of the original Hammerwatch (2013), and its patched in Sun Temple campaign. It also features a new campaign based on Heroes of Hammerwatch (2017), but with the gameplay of the original Hammerwatch. So no meta progression or roguelite elements.

What's new in the remaster?
-Nearly all graphics are completely redrawn
-All levels are remade from scratch, adjusted to fit the new graphics and have some minor tweaks here and there
-1 new difficulty setting
-1 new campaign, Shaftlocke Tower, which is as big as the previous 2 combined
-New puzzles
-Improved modding
-New item system
-Voice acting with 6 voices to choose from
-11 languages
-and a lot more (sound, controls, modifiers etc.)

What happened to the roguelite elements of Heroes of Hammerwatch (2017)?
The game is a remaster of the original Hammerwatch (2013), which didn't have any such gameplay mechanics, which is why there aren't any in this release either.

Can owners of the original Hammerwatch get a discount on the remaster?
Unfortunately, no.

How is the lore of the Hammerwatch games connected?
All Hammerwatch games take place in the same world. The original and Anniversary Edition's Castle Hammerwatch campaign take place right before Hammerwatch II, which is a direct sequel. Heroes of Hammerwatch and the Anniversary Edition's Shaftlocke Tower campaign tie in to Hammerwatch II as well. The Sun Temple campaign is more of a side story, but is also referenced in Hammerwatch II.

Are the Moon Temple and Pyramid of Prophecy DLCs included in the Anniversary Edition?
Unfortunately, no.
